Public Hearing Meeting


THIS PUBLIC HEARING IS TABLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE


A public hearing will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 7:05 pm at the Howard City Village Hall located at 125 E. Shaw Street, Howard City, MI 49329, to gather public input to discuss the Village of Howard City's Clean Water State Revolving Fund Project Plan - Wastewater System Improvements. The proposed improvements to be funded in this Project Plan currently include:


1) Sludge removal from Lagoons #3, #4, and #5

2) Reconfigure effluent discharge piping in Lagoons #4 & #5

3) Modification of the chemical feed system

4) Addition of tertiary filtration

5) Lift Station improvements

6) Electrical and SCADA improvements

7) Other potential improvements as coordinated with the Village
